What it checks
- Columns: which of your column names NuVentrec recognises on its own (name, email, phone, address, city, state, ZIP, type, status, source, tags, timeline, notes). Other columns can still be matched by hand during a real import, or skipped.
- Rows that would be skipped: empty rows, rows with no name and no readable phone or email, and rows that repeat an earlier row's email or phone.
- Rows worth a look: a phone number or email that can't be read, a missing name, or no working phone or email.
Limits, stated plainly
- It uses the same rules as the importer inside NuVentrec, but it can't know which contacts are already in a CRM account, so a real import may skip more duplicates.
- It reads CSV files only, up to 20,000 rows. Excel files need saving as CSV first.
- The shared link carries the counts only. No names, phone numbers or emails leave your device.
Common questions
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser reads the file and does the counting. Nothing is sent to us. You can turn off your internet connection after the page loads and it still works.
My columns have different names. Is that a problem?
No. During a real import you match each column yourself, so nothing has to be renamed. This checker only shows which ones would be matched for you. See how importing works.
Which CRMs can I import from?
Any CRM or spreadsheet that can export a CSV file.
