How many leads am I losing?

Use your own numbers. The math is simple and shown below, so you can check it. This is an estimate to think with, not a promise.

How it is worked out

  1. Leads lost per month = leads that never get a reply, plus the share of slow-reply leads you guess go elsewhere.
  2. Deals lost per year = leads lost per month × your closing rate × 12.
  3. Earnings lost per year = deals lost × what one deal earns you.

Assumptions, stated plainly

  • Every number comes from you. The starting values are examples, not averages for your market.
  • The "slow replies that go elsewhere" figure is a guess. No study gives a reliable number for real estate, so set it to what you have seen. Set it to 0 to count only leads that never got a reply.
  • It treats every lead as equally likely to close. Real leads vary by source.
  • It says nothing about what a CRM would win back. Software does not close deals; it makes the gaps visible so you can close them.

Common questions

Where do I find my own numbers?

Count last month's new leads, then count how many have no call, text or email logged, and how many waited more than an hour. If you can't tell, that is the finding: you can't see your response time today. NuVentrec's Today page shows it from your real activity. See what's live.

Is replying within an hour really that important?

Studies from 2007 and 2011 found faster replies reach and qualify far more leads, but they are old and not about real estate. Our speed to lead guide explains what they measured and their limits.

Do you keep the numbers I type?

No. The calculation runs in your browser. The numbers only travel if you share the result link, because the link carries them.
